For the Christmas and New Year holidays we have been traveling to visit family and friends. It has been going by fast and we're really enjoying getting to see everyone. One of our stops was to welcome my BF's newest addition, meet Chloe Promise. She was suuuuch a sleepy baby at only 9 days old. She's got her days & nights a little turned around so far, great for me photographing her...not so great for her Mommy at night.
the beautiful knits were from various sources:

Winter Wonderland
It just did not stop snowing all day!! My baby would point out the windows non-stop telling us all about how beautiful it was...at least I'm pretty sure that is what she was saying =) I was standing just inside my patio doors when I took this shot but tomorrow I plan to get brave and actually get outside for some photos.

the spark of the soul
Our routine: find a fun spot, de-jacket, think warm thoughts, click-click, re-jacket =) Good times with this beautiful family on a chilly day at the beach. Sweet story: I've started getting balloons for toddlers when I meet them to photograph, it brightens their countenance if we need a little re-charging during the session. Well these little ones were nothing but bubbly & bright and I didn't remember the balloons in my car till we were all done. So I give them to them and not minutes later Stewey (the little brother) looses his to the clouds...Sherrie his littler big sister offers her balloon a when that doesn't cheer him up off goes her balloon to the clouds too..... was that not the most caring gesture that a 5 year old can make for her little brother?! Way to go Sherrie =)
2 Snoozy Babes
They had everything going for them: boys, born early, sippin' on formula...several checks for a sleepy snoozy baby! Here are some shots of sweet Dylan & Tanner and their proud parents too =)

10 pounds of precious
Meet Emily & Alex, twins born with a combined weight of barely 10 pounds! They were really smitten with my arrival at their home to photograph them, so much so they wanted to stay awake and visit with me the entire time....we still managed to get just a couple snoozy images =)

I hear i'm the bomb?!
OK, first let me say that I really don't take credit for what I do....I believe God has put a love in my heart for all babies and children, the beauty they bring to their family, and the sheer miracle they are. I am inspired to capture this and put it into a visual medium to remember & rekindle the memories long after these days have past. I have been blessed to work with some beautiful families and I am talking about inner beauty here, people who love their babies and are thankful for their children and have a twinkle in their eye about their life. To witness this and be a part of even just one of their days... this is an honor and a pleasure for me, to do this as my work is a blessing. Thank you thank you for letting me soothe and sshhh and sway your babies, thank you for allowing me to play with your children and inviting me into your home and family life, thank you! I am humbled with my client's feedback and thought I'd start sharing it. You can find it on my notes page on Facebook:

Life
Can it get any better than this! Children: Their so carefree and full of life. It takes the silliest thing to make them smile or laugh. And to make them happy just let them play, imagine, & dream!
Three is never a crowd =)
I might be the only person I know that isn't out in town or online fighting the crowds shopping....instead I'm posting photos of a beautiful family I recently worked with. And getting ready to go and photograph more multiples =) 3 month old twin boys are up for today, should be sweet!
So, I had the grandest time with this family. Meet Elizabeth, Sam & Abby....my 1st set of triplets to photograph =) Within one hour we had over 100 photos and several lollipops each hah! I've learned that having toys and candy are of the utmost importance when photographing toddlers, OH and a couple balloons don't hurt =) I hope you enjoy these shots as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Elizabeth Hope
Little Elizabeth was probably the most alert babe to enter my studio! She also broke the record for most tinkles & poopies on everything including her daddy's rock climbing rope that we used in some of the photos. OOh but what a sweet little pea ha!!
