Texas Baby Photography Workshop {Bitsy Baby Photography}

We are thrilled to announce the summer group workshop for Texas! Here are some preliminary details.

Hosted By: Love Struck Photography and Simply. Photography
Location: Shelly and Lindsey's natural light studio in Waco, TX
Airport Code: ACT - Waco Regional Airport

Date: Saturday May 26, 2012 (with a photographer meet & greet on the eve of May 25th)
Time: 9am - 5pm

Tuition: $600 each or $500 each if 2 or more photographers register together with an assistant etc.

How to Register: Complete the contact form on the website HERE letting us know your desire to attend and we will send your invoice for a $50 non-refundable deposit with the remainder due on May 1. We will send lodging recommendations to all registrants. Registration is on a first come first serve basis.

What is taught at this workshop?

• Session prep, set-up, session flow, posing, prepping parents, soothing, transitioning for smoother shorter sessions and troubleshooting information for the first year milestone sessions including maternity, newborn, smiling, sitting, standing/birthday.
• Natural lighting and camera technique.
  
• Posing demonstration & portfolio shooting for newborn and sitting baby stages.
• Business, smart marketing, sales, blooming baby bundling, industry standards.
• Post processing in Lightroom.
• Open Q & A

• Also Included: Vendor list, our business resource list, PDF workbook of topics covered, catered lunch and a swag bag of goodies from our workshop sponsors.
  

What you will need: A DSLR and a 50mm lens is recommended. It is ideal if you are familiar with your camera and already shooting in Manual mode or have some knowledge of exposure.

Rita Lawrence is a professional baby photographer specializing in the season of newborn baby portraits to the one year old birthday milestone. Through her baby photography workshops she also teaches photographers how to start and run a profitable Baby's First Year business such as hers. Workshops are in a small group setting and offer a curriculum for business, session/model posing, and post-processing training in Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.
