If you don't already know I have a resources page on my website where I post sites I have found helpful related to pregnancy, birth, or baby. Recently, I have added Stella Maternity, a trendy maternity and baby boutique for all of you hip moms-to-be! I love their philosophy: "just because your body is changing, doesn't mean your sense of style has to change as well."

Here are a few samples from Miss Emma's first Blooming Baby Session. I'll meet up with her several more times over the next year to capture those once-in-her-lifetime milestones as she blooms into a little lady. She was holding out on smiles for me this time though as you can see here, she is still cute as a button =)

You may remember these beautiful maternity photos. Now meet the resulting little babe, Ms Danica. It is always such a thrill when I get the call that a Momma has had her baby. I believe I have near as much anticipation as my clients do when we're waiting on them to arrive =)

Maternity Madness {Maryland Maternity Photograpahy}

I've had quite a few maternity sessions lately, which is thrilling because that means more babies coming soon =) Here are a few samples from some of the those sessions...ok a little more than a few; you can blame it on the beautiful Momma's who could not take a bad photo if they tried! I'll be catching up this week on all my processing and getting samples up from the remaining sessions in que. Thank you sooo much for being patient everyone.

Hello Hollyn {Annapolis Baby Photographer}

Little Miss Hollyn here was just over a month old and of the different shots we got for some reason I love the bottom one with her little dainty "o" yawn =) Aren't they just the cutest little family!

New Mom, new baby {Newborn photographs in annapolis}

The last several newborns I've had the privilege of meeting up with have been so good to me....I think they are silently saying "go ahead, photograph me anytime, again and again, when I'm 4 months, 7 months, and 1 year; please let's meet up again" =) Which by the way I CAN do, just ask about my Blooming Baby Bundle!

This particular sleepy head, little Mr Danny, was 5 days old, nearly 10 pounds, & oh so squishy and loveable! I even got to use my new prop, a circa 1800's antique metal doll bed I found tucked away in a corner at West Annapolis Antiques, lucky me.

Here are a some photos I've been meaning to share of one of the most sleepy babies ever, though you'll see below she managed to get a peek at us for about a second. We incorporated some of Mom's traditional sarees in the session and they really worked out great. They wanted bright and vibrant images and I think we did pretty well. There is now a 30x40 of the first image hanging in their sitting room =) As a matter of fact I just delivered the products this week and WOW, I was reminded how fast these babies grow. This little gal was already talking (cooing and gooing) to me, yes ya'll we chatted it up until she was dreaming in my arms yet again!

Mr Marek {Maryland Baby Photography}

Marek definitely is making his way to America's Next Top Baby Model in my book, wouldn't you agree? He slept like a baby through nearly 2 hours of photographing. His very first images can be seen here at the maternity session! It's been sweet to have such sleepy babies lately, let's keep 'em coming!
